The Middle East has for long contributed to the world of art and entertainment, gathering some world renowned talents from all around. No matter if you are a fan of jazz, electronic or soul-stirring music, there are a lot of great options out there.

1. RedFest DXB, Dubai, UAE

The RedfestDXB first began in 2003 and has since then given us out of the world performances. This two day festival is hosted by Done Events and usually happens around February at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre.

This number 1 hit festival of Dubai has brought names like Jessie J, Kesha, Adam Lambert, The Lumineers, Demi Lovato, The Script, and much more. have attracted visitors from all over the world. In 2017 the festival won the Best Music Event & Best Light and Sound Production at the Middle East Event Awards.

2. Istanbul Jazz Festival

For jazz lovers, this is a must go music festival. Since its launch in 1994, the Istanbul Jazz Festival has always gathered one of the best line-ups. The festival happens takes place in the first week of July, with performances and events taking place all around the city.

Although it’s a jazz festival, the performances aren’t actually limited to jazz. Every year, visitors will also find a beautiful mix of classic, modern and electronic fusions. Some of the top musicians that have performed include Miles Davis, Sting, the Modern Jazz Quartet, Carlos Santana, Joss Stones and Ray Charles.

 

3. Wicker Park Festival, Batroun, Lebanon

Still ranking in our top 3 of music festivals is the Wicker Park Festival held in Lebanon. This zero waste festival, takes place at the beach, in the coastal town of Batroun.

Known for its alternative identity, the Wicker Park Festival combines today’s burgeoning Lebanese talents with more old school bands. It’s laid-back and positive all-around environment makes it one of the top music experiences in the country. The best part? It actually lasts for 8 full days, so you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy it.
