The weekend is coming! Are you thinking about what to do without money? Starticles helps you! There are some fun activities that can be done without spending a dime. Take a pen and notebook to write down our tips!

Here are our top free things to do on the weekend.

1. Clean your house and do the laundry

Ok, we admit it. This first one isn’t really a top fun or entertaining activity. However, sometimes our days are so full of work and studies that we can´t keep our house organized and the clothes clean.

If this is your case, set aside some time from your weekend to do this! Wake up on Saturday morning, clean your house, do the laundry and have the rest of the two days off to do what you want.

2. Walk a few miles

Do you know your neighborhood? Your city?  Most of us usually complain about not having things to do on the weekend, but we actually don’t really know our city.

How about walking a little in your neighborhood? This will do well for your body and will make you know more about the region where you live. Moreover, you’ll probably be able to better impress your friends when you have visits.

3. Read a book

This one is a definite must for us! It’s time to read a few pages of that book you left out. A good story can take you very far… and the best: without spending money! Your weekend will be more interesting with a good book. And honestly, so will you.

4. Check your town’s cultural agenda

If you’re out of ideas for things to do in the weekend, probably you should check the calendar of your city’s cultural agenda! There are always several complementary activities offered by the city hall, such as museums visits, libraries, festivals, shows, and theaters.

It really is a great way to both increase your culture and discover new tastes or artists.

5. Do Yoga

Breathing, stretching, exercising … without spending anything! As we’ve previously covered here on Starticles, Yoga is a great exercise for both your mind and body.  The best part? It can be practiced anywhere, without any costs or requirements for extra materials.

If you’ve never practiced it before, check out our post with easy Yoga postures.
