Who here doesn’t sometimes get home and just goes for quick dinner recipes? I mean, not all of us have the time (or patience) to sit for slow-cooking recipes for hours.

Nonetheless, that doesn’t mean that we do not appreciate great food. And because money doesn’t stretch infinitely, we have to get creative.

If you’re on one of those days where all you can think about is your couch, than take note of these quick dinners recipes.

 

Pumpkin Soup and Roasted Tomato

Ingredients
1kg mature tomato
550g pumpkin (cut and without the peel)
1 large onion (cut into half moons)
2 cloves garlic (rolled)
3 bay leaves
One sprig of rosemary
1l olive oil
2l hot water
Salt and pepper

Method of preparation
1. Begin by placing the cut tomatoes in half on a baking sheet with the pumpkin, garlic, bay leaf, rosemary leaves and onion.
2. Season with salt and pepper and drizzle with olive oil to taste.
3. Preheat the oven to 210 degrees and bring the pan to the oven for 45 minutes.
4. When the vegetables are roasted, remove them and mash them by adding hot water.
5. Make salt and add a cayenne pepper if you like.

Chicken with beer

Ingredients
1 split chicken
One packet onion soup
One black beer
1 package of cream

Method of preparation
1. Put the chicken in a pot, along with the onion soup and the beer.
2. Cook for 15 minutes and remove the chicken.
3. Add the cream to the sauce and stir for 2 minutes.
4. Add the chicken to the pan and it is ready to serve.

 

Chicken Sticks with Pepper and Basil Oil

Ingredients
8 thin chicken bites
C. olive oil
Pinch of sugar
1 small chopped onion
One chopped red pepper
1 tablespoon pickled chopped
2 tablespoon tomato pulp soup
tablespoon dried basil tea
Salt and pepper

Method of preparation
1. This quick and inexpensive dinner recipe starts with seasoning the steaks with salt.
2. In a skillet add 2 tablespoons of olive oil and fry the steaks on both sides and when they are cooked remove them and reserve them.
3. In the same skillet add more olive oil and saute the onion with a little sugar to caramelize slightly.
4. Add the chopped pepper and cook until tender.
5. Add the tomato paste, basil and pickles and wrap everything.
6. Season with salt and pepper to taste and arrange the steaks with the sauce on top.
7. Can accompany with a creamy puree to contrast with the spicy pepper sauce.
